Hair Mask & 50 Followers!
I showed you a couple of weeks ago this hair mask which I bought from Boots on special offer, at only 65p and I finally got round to trying it out on Monday.
Firstly, I washed my hair as usual and then towel dried my hair (so it was damp, not dripping). I rubbed the hair mask into my hair, combed it through and left it for about 3 minutes. This was all fine, and the product smells lovely! I only got a small packet, but this was plenty for my hair length (although I recommend you don't put too much of this on). I rinsed it out and this is where the problems began! It was really hard to wash it all out. However, it left my hair amazingly soft and silky. It also tamed my hair, which often goes frizzy and thick after washing. It had the same effect as blow drying my hair so I was actually really pleased with this! The problem was the next day, because my hair was greasy already. I do have quite greasy hair, but I do not need to wash it everyday, so this product definitely made my hair more greasy than usually. I think this could be down to the fact that I couldn't wash it all out, so I suggest that you use less product and take longer rinsing!
Overall I think this is a good product, and I will be re-buying. Although I will only be using it occasionally, for example if I'm going out for the evening, because it does make my hair silky smooth and lovely!
Also, I want to say a big thank you to all my followers...I have reached 50 followers! It means a lot that people are actually interested to see and read what I have to say.
Thanks again and Enjoy! xo

My Skincare Routine
Hi guys!
I've had such a busy week but I am now officially on Easter holiday and couldn't be happier!
This post is about my skincare routine (hence the title! lol). Unfortunately I do not have perfect, flawless skin.....far from it, my skin is actually quite oily so I'm prone to breakouts at certain times of the month, if I'm stressed or if I eat too much junk food. So this is how I try and keep my skin under control!
These are the two products I use daily. I think that it's important for people with oily skin not to use too many products because it can really upset the balance of oils in your skin.
I use the Neutrogena Wave with deep cleansing pads each night. It costs about £12 and then roughly £4 for packs of refills, and it's definitely worth the money! I see a big difference in my skin if I stop using it for a period of time.
I also use this MySkin Mattifying Moisture Lotion. It's another fantastic product, and the best thing has to be the price, being under £2 from Tesco! It's actually advertised as being especially for Teenage Skin but I think it would be fine for anyone with oily skin as it doesn't make you shiny! The smell of this product is amazing, it's kiwi and raspberry which sounds a bit odd but it's lovely! :)
Above are products I use less regularly.
I use Nivea Creme when I occasionally get really dry skin. This winter in particular I have used a lot of this, because the weather in the UK has been horrible and very cold. For me, I couldn't use this as a normal facial cream because it's too thick, but it works wonders on patches of dry skin!
The Planet Spa facial mud mask is from Avon and I use it about once a month. It's a horrible, scary grey colour but it's a great product which leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth!
And finally another MySkin product, the exfoliator which I use once or twice a week. It has the same smell as the moisturising lotion and again I love it! I recommend you try the MySkin products as they are such good value and effective!
Enjoy! xo
PS Everyone's skin is different, and what works for me may not work for your skin type. I recommend all of the above products, however please consider they have a totally different effect on your skin!

NOTD
Hi Guys!
Another quick nail polish post. Today I am wearing Boot's No.7 Stay Perfect in 115 Totally Teal. This is the nail colour I bought last week in my mini haul but didn't manage to get a picture up! It's actually very hard to get a good picture of this colour because it looks different in different kinds of lighting....the best way to describe the colour is teal! lol.
I love these nail polishes...I have a few other colours. They last for days without chipping and application is great. They are quite pricey, however I only buy them when I have a £5 off No.7 voucher from Boots!
Enjoy and have a great weekend! xo

Prom Prom Prom
Hi :)
I'm currently in the search for a dress for my school prom in June. I know it's a long way off but I want to buy it soon because if I leave it nearer to the time then I'll be bogged down with work and it won't be fun! I'm quite fussy....I don't want anything too revealing, I want a bright colour, I want it to be short and most importantly affordable! I've just had a little play on Polyvore and found my favourite prom dresses from there, so you can get a sense as to the sort of thing I'm after :)
1. I love love this colour and the style, I think it's so pretty but I'm not sure if I can wear a long dress because I'm quite short :S
2. This is another favourite...I love the simplicity of it.
3. Adore this colour, but not sure if I'd have the confidence to wear it lol.
4. Again I love the colour of this dress and the pretty beading round the strap..but is it too long?
5. As you can probably tell I'm a fan of the single shoulder strap and pretty, simple detailing.
6. Love the colour!
7. Now this style is definitely too 'grown-up' but it's the perfect colour!
8. The colour is beautiful and would be great for a summer prom.
Hahah so those are the sort of dresses I'm into...now I just have to find one that fits, looks good and is affordable (I'm thinking under £50)
So I was just wondering if any of you know of any affordable shops selling prom/evening dresses in the London, Milton Keynes, Chester or Liverpool area?! I'd love to hear if you have any advice as well! :)
Enjoy! xo

Mini Haul
Hi guys!
So I thought I'd show you a few things I bought yesterday. I didn't buy that much, which is a very good thing because I'm trying desperately to save my money!
I got both these from Boots. The hair mask was on special offer and only 65p for the sachet! I'm intrigued to see how it works because I've never used a hair mask before. The cleansing wipes were also on special offer...I can't remember the price but it was buy one get one free so I stocked up! I always use them as they're soft and soothing. I hate putting lots of chemical on my face. Also while I was in Boots I used my £5 off No 7 voucher to buy a gorgeous nail polish in teal. I tried taking a picture but you just couldn't see the colour properly, but I'll do a NOTD when I try it so you can see :)
Then I couldn't resist going into Primark.....I always manage to walk out of there with something :S The ring cost £2 and I think it's going to be gorgeous for summer with a pretty dress or skirt. The bag I'd been looking at for ages but never got round to buying it so when I saw it on special offer for only £3!! I had to buy it :)
Enjoy! xo
PS So sorry about the bad picture quality...I had to take these on my mobile as I'm having camera problems atm.

NOTD
Hi guys :)
This is my second NOTD post....and I'm wearing Collection 200 Hot Looks Fast Day in number 35 which is called Dynasty. This colour was a favourite of mine last summer, I wore it so much because it's a lovely pretty colour. However, I haven't worn it much since about August and I thought well why not? Haha if the sun's not going to come out then I'll just pretend it's summer. It's a bit hard to tell in the picture, but it's actually lilac. I love the colour and even after one coat the colour is noticeable. The application is horrible though...it takes a lot of time and skill because it nearly always goes streaky. I love the colour though so I'm currently on the look out for something in a similar colour which is easier to apply....I'll let you know how I get on, and of course if anyone has any suggestion let me know! :)
TGIF! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Make-Up Storage
Hi guys :)
Thanks for following me, each time I log on I seem to have a couple more followers and it makes me so happy :D
In this post I'm going to show you how I store my make-up and other beauty products. At the weekend I don't know what got into me but I felt I just had to have a massive sort out, so I ended up getting rid of a lot of my make-up :( I do think that having a big sort out every now and again is very useful, and nearly all the stuff I chucked away were things that I have never worn! And I feel so much better now...my room is clutter free :D
Just a WARNING.....I went a bit picture crazy, sorry :P
So this is where I keep the majority of my make-up. It looks really small, and I'm sure I'm gonna replace all the stuff I got rid of recently but it does perfectly for now! I actually bought it in Tesco for £4. I use each drawer for something specific e.g. eyeliners, lipglosses and eye make-up.......
Then next to this drawer set I have another box where I keep foundations, concealers e.t.c. I was given the box with make-up in for Christmas from one of my friends so I thought it would be a good idea to recycle it and make good use of it. :)
And finally I have the following on my dressing table, which are products I use daily....
Enjoy! xo

Favourite Mascara
Hi :)
Ok this is going to be a bit of a weird post, because I have found my favourite mascara...and I've only used it once!! Recently I've been having really bad luck with mascara and couldn't find anything suitable. However, I took a gamble yesterday and bought The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara by Maybelline ,mainly because it was on special offer! RRP is £7.99 but I got it for £5.99 from Boots. I used it straight away and I'm so so impressed! It adds length rather than thickness, which is exactly right for me because I need extra length. And so far I haven't had any clumping or flaking so all's good :) I took a close up picture of how it looks, but it hasn't come out very well so you probably can't see quite how good it is lol, but anyway here we go......
I really do recommend you give this mascara a go...it's great value and looks good! :)

Hi guys!
This Face of The Day post is actually from Thursday night, but my internet hasn't been working so I've only just managed to post it! It's nothing fancy but I thought I'd show you and then if you like I can do more posts like this! hehe. I went out to a Charity Talent Show at my school and I literally had to get ready in 10 minutes so I do apologize that it isn't exactly "inspiring" but I promise in the future I will try harder!!
On my face I'm wearing:
17 Hide Away Concealer Cream
Avon Invisible Light Concealer (I use this under my eyes because it is thinner and lighter)
Avon Kajalstick in Purple (I used this to bring out the purple in my top!)
Benefit Badgal Lash

My Hair Inspiration
Hi guys!
Well I've been having a bit of a "blah" day today. I'm sure you know what I mean....I feel bored, stressed, and uninspired. So as soon as I got home from school I got distracted and instead of looking up the Spanish vocab I needed I learn, I got onto google and started searching for gorgeous celebrity hair. Hair, for me at the moment, is a big issue. I had it quite long then had a major cut at Christmas and it's hardly grown since (my hair usually grows super fast and needs cutting like every 5-6 weeks!) Having found all these lovely hairstyles on google, it has truly got me itching to do something about my hair. I want more length mainly but also more style to it. I'm definitely going to get it growing and have set myself a realistic (hopefully) goal of Summer for gorgeous locks! I can't wait! I'll be sure to keep you updated, but in the mean time have a look at what hairstyles are inspiring me at the moment :)
